What started as a longing for more natural bath and body products for my family has now turned into a love for making these products available for everyone. I was born and raised in small town surrounded by farmland. I knew that Lard-based natural soap bars would appeal to the local population. Lard has been used for centuries not only for cooking but also for medicinal purposes, salves, soaps, lotions, and more.

Lard makes a beautiful soap bar that moisturizes your skin and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, and Vitamin A. My ultimate desire is to provide soaps and body products that are not only cleansing but gentle as well.  Knowing exactly what goes into The Little Byrdhouse products with no hidden ingredients is the driving force for my company.
